Packaging machines, e.g. for the beverage industry Open Basket Carrier Line The OBC line consists of one or two formers, a conveyor and distribu- tion system and an inserter. The Open Basket Carriers are opened in the formers at up to 160 cycles per minute. Via a conveyor and distribution system, these are distributed onto two tracks and fed to the inserters. In the inserter, the OBC is brought into formation and inserted into the outer carton. From here, these are passed onto the customer’s bottle applicator. The line capacity is designed for bottle fillers with a capacity of 50,000 bottles/h. Formats: Six and four carrier systems
