"Bespoke mechanical engineering" by having first-class engineering and adopting an
uncompromising stance in pursuit of customer benefits, SCHLEUTER has set standards
in the development and construction of labelling and packing machinery throughout
the world.
The business was established in 1919 in Bremen by the Schleuter brothers, Hubert
and Bernhard. Initially it manufactured packing machinery and tax stamping machinery
for the cigarette industry and a large number of other industries.
From mounting tax stamps on to products, the company has moved on to the application
of adhesive labels on various media. Today complex labelling and packing machinery
including complete system integration and automation assume key roles in all spheres
of information and decoration labelling in our customers’ production lines. Above all
in decoration labelling the SCHLEUTER machinery and systems fulfil the high standards
demanded of premium brands throughout the world with regard to quality, precision and
economic process management down to the last detail.
In addition to this SCHLEUTER develops and manufactures highly-efficient special
machinery to create new products.
Located near the Bremen motorway intersection with a direct link to the main traffic
arteries in Northern Germany, as well as to the airport and logistical centres of
Bremen, the company is managed by the third generation of the family in accordance
with a principle which is as straightforward as it is convincing: "Our machinery has
to be precise and reliable in operation, only then will they make money for our
customers."
